After examining me today, the urologist in Lausanne concluded that we should try to solve the bladder issue using medication and that an operation should not be necessary.  He will see me again on September 29th for a (final?) decision, so there will be nothing new until then.

    Hello Rupert,
    I have been following your progress with utmost admiration. What a great achievement so far.
    It is a real “bummer” that you have been forced to stop, rest and repair for a few days. Hopefully you’ll be on the move again very very soon, in good spirits and optimal weather conditions.

    My thoughts are with you Rupert. I know about these “medical” waits but all will be well in the end. Bon courage. Only a couple of days left to find out the next steps recommended to take and I hope they are forwards.
